Linnébanan

When Carl Linnaeus in 1732 made his Lapland journey, he spent the night at the Kalix River, on the land that 260 years later turned into a golf course.

Linnaeus course is an 18-hole (par 71) very beautiful combined park, forest and seaside course. There is also a short course with 6 holes, modern drivinrange, large and well-maintained practice green, practice bunkers and a clubhouse built in 2003 with its own jetty at the Kalix River.

The course was designed by Jan Sederholm, and is rewarding for the strategic thinking player which makes it very varied and challenging to play.
