Kluntarna - island in Piteå archipelago
Kluntarna is the pearl in the outer archipelago and is part of Palta Pekens nature reserve and is only 4 km from the mainland.
The island has an exciting and barren nature with shiny polished slabs, graying rock rubble fields and wind-torn trees. On the rocky island is also growing a lot of dense deciduous forest. Here you can find both strawberry, cloudberry the bottom folded wormwood, bitter and sweet night-blooming violets. There are mountains loops to add in the blank and washed plates to bathe in. The bedrock of hot Kluntarna ore is driving as seen in the test shaft, which Boliden has burst on the island's southern tip. A few huts and fishing cabins is the only one who testifies to the island's past as a thriving fishing village. Kluntarna may also boasts a maze.
