Lappstaden - The Sami town
Lappstaden is the largest preserved Sami church town in Sweden. Take in the history on your own or join one of our guided tours during the summer. There are over 80 cots and storage buildings from the end of the eighteenth century in Lappstaden, still owned by the original Sami families. On the last weekend of August every year, Lappstaden is used for real during a Sami church holiday.
