- Wilderness retreat Solberget as base-camp
- A 4 days hike with the reindeer in the Muddus National Park
- Trip to the Artic Circle
- Stone-age like cuisine with salmon in birch bark
- Museum of the Sami in Jokmokk (optional)
The first days you will spend in Solberget hiking or cycling in the vicinity.
After you had the opportunity to leave all stress behind you will start on a four days hike in the Muddus National Park. You will pass the southern part on well maintained tracks. Each day-hike will not be longer than 8-12 km so that there is still plenty of time to enjoy the abundant nature and take care of the reindeer.
The animals are trained to carry some of the luggage so you can relax and appreciate the unspoiled nature of the forest and the marshes in the national-park.
The last days you will spend in Solberget again. You will have the opportunity to experiment with stone-age-cuisine: salmon cooked in birch bark.
If you stay longer there is the opportunity to visit the Sami museum in Jokkmokk
