Ski tour under the moonlight
Skiing in the evening (night) under the moonlight is a very exciting experience. To ensure we can enjoy a moonlit trip, we need to consider the weather conditions – it is possible to have clear evenings on the days before and after the full moon. This ski tour takes us through this beautiful old pine forest or in the surroundings of the igloo village, travelling on long wooden cross country skies in the deep, powdery snow. At first we follow an existing ski path, but the aim is to travel on virgin snow as soon as we are able to. One of the highlights of the trip is the break around an open campfire.
In November 2011 the full moon is on the 10th, in December 2011 the full moon is on the 10th, in January 2012 the full moon is on the 9th and in February 2012 the full moon is on the 7th.
Duration: 3 - 4 hours with dinner (or night meal).
Participants: 3 - 6 persons/tour.
Prices:
795 SEK/person with a coffee break and 900 SEK/person for a Moonlight Tour with dinner (or a late night meal).
Price includes: Rental of wooden skies, professional ski guide and coffee break or dinner.
