Northern lights, Esrange Space Center & dinner under the stars
This tour is all about the Northern lights, the stars and a tour of Esrange Space center. As we have the Aurora Sky Station, located in Abisko, Sweden’s most cloud free zone, as a back up, we can almost with out doubt offer a great view of the stars and the Northern lights, if the weather Gods smile upon us. If night sky over Esrange Space Center is not clear, but it is in Abisko we change our route towards the Aurora Sky station where we will enjoy a delicious dinner.
If the weather permits and the sky is clear, we take you to our beautiful camp located by Lake Salmijärvi. While dinner is prepared a welcome drink with a local character is served and you can study the night sky with binoculars, look for you favourite star constellations and hopefully you can see the Northern lights dance across the sky. After you have enjoyed a three-course dinner with a local character we will drive you back to ICEHOTEL.
The tour is organised in cooperation with Esrange Space Center (SSC) and The Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF) to ensure the quality of the tour.
