Sami culture: Overnight tour with reindeer sled
Experience driving your own reindeer sled in the Lappish virgin forests and spend a night in Sautosjohka wilderness camp with access to a wood fired sauna. After the introduction you will drive off into the wilderness, all guests will drive their own reindeer sled.
A traditional Sami lunch, prepared over the open fire, will be served by a fireplace in the woods. After lunch we continue back to the Sautosjohka camp. All guests will assist in getting the reindeers in their fold. Then you have time to get settled into the camp and relax in the traditional wood heated sauna. The guide will prepare dinner and we can unwind the rest of the evening in the camp.
The night will be spent in comfortable cabins. Next morning, the guide will serve breakfast before the short transfer back to ICEHOTEL.
