Dränglängan Art and Culture Center
Dränglängan is located in Svanstein, a village beside the River Tornio, c. 10 km north of the Arctic Circle. A genuine 19th-century setting, featuring a Tornedalen timber house with the largest collection of bur sculptures in Scandinavia, an art café, sales of antiques and art and design products. Here the visitor is offered a unique experience of art and the environment. We have permanent exhibitions in all the buildings. The exhibition of bur sculptures commemorates the Tornedalen artist Rolf Edvin Suup.
