Reindeer Lodge

Scenic and cosy cabin accommodation in Sámi design nestled in the taiga forest and at the shores of river Torneälv in the great outdoors of Swedish Lapland. Remotely situated in the woods, the reindeers roam on the premise and are on the guests’ doorstep; reindeer feeding in the morning with guide.

A joint wood-fired sauna with separate shower and dressing compartments for men and women as well as lavatories with WCs are found in separate communal facilities. There is a common timber log building that serves as kitchen/dining room with seating and free Wi-Fi.

Savour the moment of silence, cosy up to the fireplace and unwind from everyday life. Enjoy delicious dinners from local produce served by the host; and relax in the wood-burning sauna whilst the dazzling northern light illuminates the night sky. Snowshoes and skis are for free use (ski track laid out from/to Reindeer Lodge in the forest). Go for a walk in the forest, or why not taking a swim in the nearby creek. Pick some berries and take a walk to Jukkasjärvi village to visit the church, the reindeer and the world-famous Icehotel premises.

Different winter activities on offer both day and night time contribute to the perfect balance of activity and tranquillity.
