Luleå is the largest city in Swedish Lapland. Enjoy a long weekend in Luleå, the coastal city is surrounded by the Bothnian Bay and forests. The combination of the city life and its closeness to nature makes the city worth exploring in so many ways.

In winter time, when the sea freezes, you can enjoy the serenity by kick sledging along the maintained ice track that goes around the city peninsula. On the cape Gültzauudden a concert hall made of ice is built every year, a unique experience where everything is made of ice – even the instruments. We reach the outer archipelago with snowmobiles, where we can find piles of ice up to 10 metres high. Everywhere we turn there is ice, but the experiences are warming.
