Laponia offers cruises with a spectacular view of the sea no matter where you are seated. You can also feel the breeze in your hair on the sun decks.

The ships have restrooms, and are handicap-friendly. The guiding aboard and on the islands can be in English.

Evening Cruise with Shrimp Buffet

Join the popular three hour cruise in Luleå’s beautiful archipelago. During the cruise a buffet filled with salad, cheeses, sauces,  freshly baked bread are served, and of course, as many shrimp you can eat! They also serve beverages such as beer, drinks, soft drinks and a variety of wines that are specially chosen for the menu. There is always live music played by talented troubadours on these cruises.

The skipper always choose the route that are most appropriate for the weather conditions. You can go on these cruises from mid May until end of September. Between 5 July-7 August Laponia also have these cruises in Piteå, Kalix and Haparanda.

Evening Cruise to Brändöskär

Every Wednesday evening Laponia cruise to Brändöskär. During the cruise to the island they serve an evening buffet with freshly baked bread. They also offer beverages such as beer, drinks, non-alcoholic beverages and a variety of wines that are specially chosen for the menu. On the island you can participate in a sing a long in the 18th century chapel. Afterwards you can see the local artist Erik Marklund’s statue of Jesus on the farthest rock outside the island and Ola Taube’s sculptures “Angels of Bothnian Bay” on the cliffs.

Midnightsun cruises

Every Tuesday and Saturday Laponia have a midnight cruise where you can experience the midnight sun on a cruise in the Bothnian bay.

The National park Haparanda Sandskär

17 July Laponia cruise up north to the national park Haparanda Sandskär. During the cruise they serve a lunch buffet with freshly baked bread. At the island they offer a guided tour. The island has some rare species of flora and fauna, a fishing camp from the 15th century and a chapel from the 18th.

Excursions to Skvalpen

Because of the birdlife it’s forbidden to visit Skvalpen between 1 May-31 July. However, from 1 of August you can visit this beautiful island with it’s long beaches. The island is mostly made of sand and has a rich birdlife with some rare species.
