Snowmobile Safari (3 h)

The guides will pick you up at your hotel for a short transfer to the starting point. The Expedition starts with safety training from your guides, and instruction on how to handle the 550 cc touring snowmobiles. Then you start your safari along the frozen Råne River. You will pass through the forest landscape with all its different countryside characteristics from moors to thick snow-covered pine forests. After a while you reach Gumberget Mountain, a high mountain with a spectacular view over the river valley, here you make a stop at the wind shelter for an outdoor fika. The chances of seeing reindeer and other wildlife are normally good. Then you will head back to your hotel. Small children can ride in a sled behind the snowmobile.

Snowmobile Safari (50 km)

After breakfast the guides will pick you up at your hotel for the short transfer to the starting point. The expedition starts with safety training where your guides inform you about how to handle the 550 cc touring snowmobiles. Then you start your safari along the frozen Råne River. You will pass through the forest landscape with all its different countryside characteristics from mires to thick snow-covered pine forests. After a half day of snowmobile driving you reach Gumberget Mountain, a high mountain with a spectacular view over the river valley here you take a break at the wind shelter for your outdoor lunch sitting on reindeer pelts around the campfire. The chances of seeing reindeer and other wildlife are normally good. After lunch you will cross a lake where you will try some ice fishing on a frozen lake before you head back to the hotel.

Snowmobile Safari (150 km)

The guides meet you at your hotel for a short transfer to the starting point. The expedition starts with safety training where the guides instruct you about safety and security and how to handle the 550 cc snowmobiles. Then you start your expedition along the frozen Råne River. After a half day of snowmobile driving you take a break for your outdoor lunch sitting on reindeer pelts around the campfire. Here there is a chance to try snowshoeing in deep snow. You continue on after lunch to reach the Arctic Circle monument in the middle of nowhere. There is an Arctic Circle diploma awarding ceremony. Stop for coffee before you head back south to the hotel.

Northern Lights Snowmobile tour

The guides will pick you up at your hotel for a short transfer to the starting point. The expedition starts with safety training where your guides inform about safety, and how to handle the 550 cc touring snowmobiles. Then you start your safari along the frozen Råne River. You will pass through the forest landscape with all its different characteristics illuminated by the strong headlights of the snowmobiles. After a while you reach Gumberget Mountain, a high mountain with a spectacular view over the river valley, here you take a break at the wind shelter for an outdoor fika. A great location at high altitude where with some luck you can see the Northern Lights. Head back to the hotel.

2 day Snowmobile Arctic Circle expedition

The arctic circle expedition gives you a 2-day adventure in the heart of Lapland where you will experience the wild forest landscape along the Råne River valley by snowmobile and an opportunity to cross the Arctic Circle in the middle of the wilderness together with exciting dinner in a log cabin and a traditional sauna bath under the Northern Lights.

Day 1: The guides will pick you up at the hotel for transfer to the starting point. Here your guides will equip you with thermal outerwear and other equipment such as helmets, gloves and balaclavas. The Expedition starts with safety training where the guides inform you about safety and security and how to handle the 500 cc snowmobiles. Then you start the expedition along the frozen Råne River. After a half day of snowmobile driving you take a break for an outdoor lunch sitting on reindeer pelts around the campfire. There is the opportunity to try snowshoeing in deep snow. You continue on after lunch to reach the Arctic Circle monument in the middle of nowhere. There is an Arctic Circle ceremony awarding diplomas and break for coffee before you head back to the wilderness camp. When you get back to the camp the warm sauna is waiting for you. After the sauna you enjoy a two course dinner in the camp. Stay overnight in comfortable beds.

Day 2: Wilderness breakfast is served in the cabin. Then you head back south, stop for lunch around the campfire, ice fishing on the frozen lake. In the afternoon, transfer back to your hotel.
