There are several cross country trails in and around Björkliden, some run from the lakes to the high alpine tundra.

Regardless if you’re looking for a challenge or an experience, there is something for you in Björkliden. Cross-country skiing is the ultimate outdoor activity. Make your own tracks, in a group or with a guide.

While some run from the lakes to the high alpine tundra while others run through the forest and provide good protection from the wind and a spectacular view of the lake Torneträsk. One of the most popular trails runs 27 kilometers long from Björkliden to Låktatjåkko on-mountain accommodation in the 1228 meter height up to Abisko.
