In summer, above the arctic circle, the sun doesn’t set – a phenomenon known as the Midnight Sun. In Swedish Lapland you can experience it from May to July, depending on where you are.
You and your guide go by car to the horse farm in Puoltsa, a small village outside the city of Kiruna. You saddle the horses and ride out in the bright summer night. You go for a shorter riding tour through many hundred year old forest nestled against the mountain range.
The Aurora Sky Station cannot be described with words, you simply must experience it. A mountain world panorama passes around and beneath you, as you slowly, silently, ascend the mountain.
