Sarek Nationalpark
Sarek
Sarek’s high mountain area resembles an alpine landscape with high mountain massifs and deep valleys. The best known is Rapadelta with its magnificent delta and rich fauna. The melt off from about one hundred glaciers builds rapid-flowing streams and narrow waterfalls. Six of the summits are above 2000 meters. Accessibility to Sarek is difficult and the terrain is demanding. Aside from King’s trail which passes the southern part of the park, there are no other marked trails.
